SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR STEVENS MAGIC
We are experts at domestic and international shipping and know the secrets to getting your products to you in the most affordable and economical way.
We have found that automatic post scales often cost more to the consumer. Therefore at Stevens Magic, we treat every order on its own weight and dimensions to try to save you the most money. We also pass on our volume discount shipping to you the client.
If you are a new client we welcome you and would be happy to let you know the shipping costs if you can let us know what possible items you would be interested in. We will then generate a multi-option quote for your review. This is a customized, and individualized special service for you. Below are some general details on shipping.
Domestic Shipping
As a service to our customers, we have absorbed shipping increased the past few
years that have been passed onto us by our shipping partners: FedEx, UPS and
DHL.
They have, once again, starting this January 2008 raised shipping rates another
6.9% (this increase with last year’s similar increase totals almost 14%.) PLUS
they have increased fuel surcharges and now add on a residential delivery charge
per each shipment and have forced us to add an additional $1.00 to the $2.50
surcharge (that we have been charging since last January), we have been charging
per order (NOT per item) for all domestic shipments in America, ground service
only.
Even when this $3.50 per shipment is applied (only on Fed Ex, UPS and DHL
"ground" shipments) this is all you will be charged for shipping - which is
usually much less then other mail order companies. But we need to let you know
about this charge. It is not a shipping charge - it is fuel-surplus and/or (or
in many cases both), fuel-surplus and home delivery fee's charged by Fed Ex, UPS
and DHL on ground only packages.
PLUS, as you know, the US Postal Service also raised their rates in May of 2007
and also changed the structure of ALL Priority Mail shipments. Pre-May there
was just one charge for ANY Priority Mail service to anywhere in the states!
The NEW Policy has Priority Mail being charged by zones and there are different
rates for each zone in America. Because of this, we must charge the extra
charges assessed to us for all Priority Mail shipments.
If you wish to expedite your order you will be charged a very competitive upgrade charge depending on the service you select.

UPS - Next Day or Second Day
If it is absolutely necessary for you to know the costs you can e-mail or call us and we will give you the totals - but please understand this will slow down the order processing time. For those of you who have been with us for 35 years, you know we have very reasonable upgrade shipping costs that are in fact much cheaper then if you used commercial mailing centers.
We process most orders very quickly but please understand, once your package leaves our door regardless of the shipper, we have no control.
If you would like your order insured YOU MUST LET US KNOW THAT AT THE TIME OF PLACING THE ORDER! Additional costs apply.
We also strongly suggest you consider upgrading to a faster service during the holidays due to the mammoth amount of mail being shipped during these times, if you wish to increase the delivery time.

International Shipping
Yes! We do ship internationally! For 35 years we have shipped our products all over the world. Our shipping prices are extremely competitive.
Because there are many variables that determine the price of shipping -- if you must know the shipping costs before placing the order -- please e-mail us with the items you are interested in. We will e-mail back to you the shipping options, companies (USPS, and Fed Ex) and costs.
For small packages (under 1.8 kilograms) we suggest USPS (Global Priority Mail) GPM.
As a general rule, Fed Ex is more expensive - but the fastest and offers full tracking.
Estimated Shipping Times:
Fed Ex - Very Fast 3-5 days. With FULL Tracking.
USPS - United States Postal Service.
Express Mail - 7-9 Days - very limited tracking information.
Global Priority Mail - 9-12 days - no tracking number.
USPS Air Mail - 13 - 30 days - no tracking number.
USPS Global Priority Mail (GPM) - there are some countries that do not offer this service. In this event - we will mail the package by regular airmail.*
