He spreads out the chips face up on the table and asks a spectator to THINK of one symbol. He collects the chips and signs one of them on its back as his prediction. Now he mixes the chips and places them on the table again, face up. For the first time, the spectator is asked to name the symbol he was thinking of. The performer picks up that chip and places it on the spectator’s hand. The spectator turns over the chips on the table—they are blank. He turns over the chip in his hand. IT IS THE MARKED ONE!
