This is an interesting prop. I had hoped that the gimmick would be practical to perform the effect as shown, and perhaps it is in front of a stationary camera. However for me it is too awkward and angle sensitive to perform in-person and under fire. Some magicians in some venues might be able to overcome these limitations. That usage is not for me. On the other hand, I feel that by itself, without the gimmick bit, it could be a valid item to use, as a pendulum or just as a talism in a bizarre presentation. For that usage alone, though, I think it is overpriced.
