Product Description

This is MAK’s version of the U.F. Grant version c. 1966 which itself was based upon Thayer’s Rice and Checker Effect c. 1926.   Only SIX SETS Made! One would be hard pressed to find another on the market and then even if they did, one that would be in better condition than this.  This item was purchased by a collector not a performer so it has never been used.  Refer to several of the images to view condition.

Condition:  EXCELLENT

Effect: Eight large colorful checkers placed under a cover. A full size orange under a matching cover. Rice poured in a fancy canister. ALL THREE CHANGE — Rice changes to an orange — Over in place of the orange we have the checkers — Last but not least, is lifted and out pours a mound of rice!

Large bold, well made outfit in a galaxy of colors. Featuring brilliant “FLUORESCENT COLORS” that stand out in spot lite design.

Each checker is 4” in diameter by 1 U” thick. Covers are 12” tall and all as pictured. This set takes a full size orange.
