The deception continues! Our most popular light heavy box has been improved. It’s now angle-proof and even easier to use. Less moves are required for the automatic set-up.

It is a Light Heavy Box that provides a double deception! How could an ordinary cardboard box–a cardboard box you could normally pick up with one finger–be impossible for the spectator to lift? After all, it’s only a cardboard box!

Another deception is the use of a common everyday item that could be found in any house, building, or street corner. And of course, how light a cardboard box is provides another coat of “delightful deception.”

It looks, feels, and smells like a normal cardboard box–the sides even bend in response to the spectators hands–but it is definitely NOT normal! Even though it looks like a cardboard box, it has the meticulous detail to construction and the smooth, silent operating gimmick that Gimpy’s light heavy chests are known for, plus YOU CAN SHOW THE INSIDE OF THE BOX! and with the Improved version, YOU CAN SHOW THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX!

It is a Light Heavy Box that provides a double deception with a KILLER ending! How could an ordinary cardboard box–a cardboard box you could normally pick up with one finger–be impossible for the spectator to lift? After all, it’s only a cardboard box!  This newest evolution from GIMPY also comes with an extremely powerful finale never before possible.  For the first time you can actually tip the bottom of the box towards the audience! Yes, all sides of the box can be viewed. 

Effect: A volunteer is chosen from the audience. They are told they will take place in a demonstration of how their strength can be altered through the power of suggestion. It is now suggested that a light weight silk will be a trigger to alter their ability to lift a very light box. An empty cardboard box is placed on a normal lightweight table.

The box is shown to the audience on every side and bottom, as well as the inside. The silk is placed inside the box and the volunteer is asked to lift the box, but for some unexplained reason they are unable to lift the box.

Now the silk is removed from the box. And now the volunteer can easily pick up the box. This can be repeated as many times as you wish.

Everything is self contained in the lightweight box. No remote controls, magnets, special tables, stooges, or harnesses. It can be performed surrounded with no reset time. It works on most any table with no preparation.
