We are pleased to offer a rare and unique collection of Paul Fox Cups for the cups and balls. All these cups were sold by Danny Dew and purchased directly from him in Phoenix, Arizona from the mid to late 1970’s. Until his death in 1996, Danny was the sole manufacturer and distributor of Paul Fox cups in the world. In one of his many advertisements in Genii Magazine, Danny wrote about his cups:

“Recognized the world over as the most perfectly designed cups for this great classic. Paul Fox cups used by Vernon, Skinner, Kaps, Brooke, Jennings, Cervon, Platt and most working magicians throughout the world.”

Chick cups are approximately 4 inches tall and will accommodate a baseball as a final load.

Paul Fox Un- lacquered Brass Chick Cups – Manufactured and sold by Danny Dew.  These cups are Danny Dew’s redesign of the original 1932/1934 Paul Fox Chick Cups.  Danny thought the ball sat too low in the original cups.  Danny made the top of these cups very shallow to make the ball look bigger.  He reduced the size of the 3 bands and changed the taper slightly which increased the volume of the cup allowing for a bigger final load.. This cup has a thicker wall than the original chick cup, making these cups heaver.  Un- lacquered brass will require periodic polishing to maintain the luster of the brass. Unpolished brass will eventually develop a beautiful patina. Unused condition.
